It was sooooo weird and i got slightly hysterical but I literally couldn't lift myself off the sofa and when i got almost out i didn't went to get off it. I was the only one out of 4 of us who couldn't get up. Was good fun though :D I got to stuck to the sofa!!! No real feeling of pushing down, but there was no way I could stand up more than a few inches, tried at least 6 times, then relaxed a while tried again and broke it. Personally, I think that the fact that we were to remain very still and barely move our heads played a bit part in the act, as well as the video of the rotating lines, for the lines may have made us feel a bit dizzy. So the feeling we had when we tried to stand up was merely dizziness and from sitting perfectly still for x amount of time. I am not critising Derren's work, for i think he is a genius. I just think that it is pure mind games and all our own doing. Also I actually saw the flashing image of the man in his chair at the beginning then at the end he was tied up. It was an old fashioned man on a wooden chair with his hands and feet tied.
